Sydor is an expert in laser fusion diagnostics. Our Streak Cameras, Framing Cameras, VISAR systems, custom CCD cameras and detectors are widely used by major US and European laser facilities.

Photomultiplier tubes are routinely used along with scintillating materials to capture visible light created by neutron emission in high energy density events. Gating the PMT’s allows the user to block a bright pre-pulse or after-pulse of light with a very narrow time window.

Particle Accelerator Diagnostics
Particle imaging is made possible using a variety of detector configurations. By converting particles to visible light, we are able to capture positrons, muons, neutrinos, and particles of interest.
